What is up, my students! I've got a special one going out to you today, so grab your seats, put your hands to your heads, and hold your skulls together, because today I am going to blow your minds. And I don't want to clean that up after class, so, you know, hold tight.
What's so noggin-shattering? Peep this: what if I told you that you could have all the most intelligent features of your favorite mods, but in a package smaller than a deck of cards - give or take? What if I told you that you didn't need to carry a brick in your pants pocket just to get all the temperature control, voltage curve, and automatic wattage features you require on your daily-driver box mod?
Well, that's exactly what I'm telling you, because the Vaporesso Swag is all that and more. Plus, we're going to talk about the ideal companion tank for this incredible mod, the Vaporesso NRG SE tank. So pop open those boxes and let's dig in: you're going to see that small has never been so smart.
The first thing you're going to notice, no big surprise, is the size: sure enough, it's so short it's not as tall as an 18650, so this mod is like the Eleaf iStick Pico and the Smok AL75 in that it's one of these with the battery cap sticking out of the top of the mod. That's SMALL: a little over 100 mm in height, or less than four inches. The next thing you notice - go ahead, pick it up - is the weight: it's only 99 grams, which is less than 4 ounces. That's the weight of a kiwi, or a couple spoons! The weight is because unlike most mods and their cheap-but-heavy steel bodies, the Swag is made of aluminum alloy, like a Corvette suspension or an airplane.
And just look at this thing. Notice something? Because it's time to get real about modern box mod design. We don't talk about it, but it's time we admitted that most mods look like the fever dreams of a Transformer who's stuck halfway between an elephant and turning into a laser gun. They're, like, one notch away from having fins and rocket launchers on them. And if that's your thing, hey, more power to you, but some of us have to go to work, or vape around people who don't vape, and looking like we're huffing wreckage from an alien spaceship isn't our style.
The Vaporesso Swag isn't like that: it's tasteful, while still looking nice, and that checkered pattern gives it a really nice grip, however you hold it. That beautiful exterior ain't going nowhere, either: unlike competitors with cheap paint jobs - you know who I'm talking about - the Swag uses in-mold labeling (IML), a process whereby the label is actually put inside the plastic mold, so when the molten polypropylene is injected, the label actually fuses with the plastic. This isn't some sticker that's going to peel off at the first hint of use, it's part of the body of the mod!
It's got a really nice-looking white OLED screen, too, with a timeout that's adjustable from 3 seconds to 120 seconds. No up-down buttons cluttering that side of the mod, either: just the fire and mode buttons, with the up-down adjustments recessed on the side where you won't accidentally bump them and nuke a coil just before your aunt's third wedding, 'cause ask me how I know.
This is not just about a pretty face, though: here's the mind-blowing part. Inside the body of this tiny, light, single-18650 mod is the mind of a genius - or, more specifically, the mind of the famed Vaporesso Revenger: the custom-built, proprietary, one-of-a-kind new Omni 2.0 chip.
So what can it do? How about fast charging, for one: 2A fast-charge, with a peak charging rate of 2.5 amps, meaning it's going to charge in half the time as your old 1A mod. Even better, its Remaining Charge Time (RCT) feature means it'll actually calculate and display the charge time remaining until it's full - you know, like your phone, and any other modern piece of technology. Isn't it time mods got this smart, too? And as long as it knows how to tell time, why not: it's got a real-time clock (RTC) feature, too, so it can tell you what time it is. Because don't you look at your mod more often than your phone, anyway?
But it goes even deeper. Of course it's got variable wattage mode, and temperature control with support for nickel, titanium, and stainless steel, but it's also got variable wattage curves, to adjust the ramp-up from "violent" to "soft", with a "normal" in-between. It'll do smart coil recognition, too, analyzing your current coil and picking the best wattage for what you brung - which can be turned off, if you like driving manual instead of automatic. And it comes with starting power and temperature coefficient adjustment. And Custom Curvature of Temperature (CCT), and Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR). Plus a bypass mode, so it can go from being real smart to being exactly dumb, like an old mech mod.
Small has never been so smart. This tiny, featherweight device has every feature of the giant bricks on the market, it's just that instead of going to 200 watts - how often do you DO that? - it runs to 80 watts. Which is PLENTY. Why carry some massive mod in your pocket or your bag, when everything you've ever wanted will fit in the palm of your hand?
A special mod like this deserves a special tank - and honestly, kind of requires one. One of the limitations of these ultra-small mods is that they can only take a tank that's just so big. Fortunately, the Swag can fit the industry-standard 22 mm diameter, which as it so happens is exactly the diameter of the Vaporesso NRG SE tank.
The little brother of the NRG tank that comes with the Revenger, the NGR SE is a svelte 22mm, but has a capacious 3.5 ml capacity. Takes the super-popular GT Core coils, too, which are amazing, but check this: it also takes Smok V8 Baby coils! So when you're stuck out of town for your aunt's third wedding, and you accidentally dry-fire your coil, and now everything takes like butt, and you forgot a spare because you didn't even think you were going to COME to this stupid thing until the last minute, you can stop into any rando vape shop and they'll have a Smok V8 Baby replacement vape coil. (And if that example seemed very specific, ask me how I know.) I loves me some GT Core coils, but V8 Baby coils are everywhere.
The Vaporesso NRG SE tank has a great "slide-n-fill" top-fill design: no struggling to unscrew it with one hand while holding your vape juice in the other, and no losing the twist-off cap. Just - and I mean this - slide, n fill. All there is to it. Top cap takes a 510 drip tip, too, so if you've got a favorite already, just pop off theirs and run what you brung.
The Vaporesso NRG SE is the perfect complement to the Vaporesso Swag - as well it should be, since they were literally designed to be used together. Any 22 mm tank will work, mos def, but why not have the one that belongs there.
Okay, then. Pick up any remaining pieces of your blown minds, and run out and get a Vaporesso Swag mod and Vaporesso NRG SE tank of your own.
