So, yeah, "box mod" might not even be the best term, right? There's no box to be found here. The Double Barrel mod is a dual-18650 mod that's just barely bigger than the two 18650 batteries inside, but yet pumps out as many as 150 watts, while needing only one control to harness all that power. How?
Clever design. The variable voltage knob also acts as the fire button, so it's all as simple as loading in two batteries, dialing up your power, and vaping.
And the winner of the 'how little mod can still be a mod' contest is...the mod you can actually see through.
But yet they still managed to find ways to improve on the first two versions. Finally, there's a hinged battery door, so you'll never need to worry about losing it, which was a bit of a bummer before. The whole top of the mod is flat, now, too, giving no room for stray vape juice to hide, and the screen sits right up there smoothly flush with the top surface. They also made the top surface just slightly larger this time around, so you can fit your 25 mm atomizers and still have no overhang!
They did this thing with the finishes, too, that you won't believe. First of all, just look at these things, but also, they're now powder-coated - yeah, like your car - for a smoother, longer-lasting finish. And these hydro-dipped designs are like nothing else out there - though you can still rock OD Green if that's how you roll.
