On January 2, 2020, the FDA publically released the first federal flavor ban, which will take effect 30 days from the announcement date, on February 1. Their guidance relates specifically to pre-filled cartridges for closed vaping systems. That means pod systems that aren’t pre-filled are okay; empty pod systems are okay. Pod systems pre-filled with tobacco or menthol flavors are okay; pod systems pre-filled with any other flavor aren't okay.
So if you’ve been using closed vaping systems like Juul, myblu, or Vuse Alto, now is the time to make your plan for switching to an open system vaping device! And you’ve come to the right place to do just that. Every flavor Mister-E-Liquid sells, along with every vaping device on our website, will still be available after this flavor ban goes into effect.
Open systems aren’t all your standard mod and tank. Open systems also include pod devices that don’t come pre-filled! Mister-E-Liquid carries multiple open system pod devices that mimic the devices you’ve loved. We recommend the Freemax Maxpod due to its ease of use, size, and functionality.
Because most closed system pods come pre-filled with nicotine salts, we recommend checking out our Salt Drops line to start out with. Choose from 19 different salt nic flavors in the Salt Drops line to add to your order, and you’ve got yourself a whole new full set-up!
There are plenty of benefits to open system vaping, like the option of being able to select your flavors, freebase or salt nicotine, your output, your clouds, and your PG/VG ratios. Look at all the flavors and options in our Mister-E-Liquid line! You’ll most likely save money in the long run, too.
Taking that step from closed to open vaping systems might seem like a lot to take in. Good thing Mister-E-Liquid has Vape Education, a resource we created to provide all of the information you need to learn everything about open systems.
